This is the love of my life since 1952. She is pictured above at 17, in her early 30s, and in her mid 70s.I met her in 7th grade
in 1942 and, immediately, sensed something special about her. We never dated in school. I had a steady relationship with another girl
for a year in high school; but Tricia was one of my very good friends; and at high school dances, I always had one dance with her.
After graduating high school, I entered the U. S. Air Force. Tricia was the only girl who corresponded with me for the 47 months
I was in the Air Force. When I left the Air Force in July, 1952, we started dating. In September of 1953, we married.
She has
been my best friend and loving wife all these years. While she knew I was different because of things I did in those school years,
she married me anyway and has tolerated all the things I have done since, many of which even I did not dream of doing when I was young.
I write this in the year 2011. How long we shall both live, I know not; but as long as we do, each shall occupy the warmest part of the
other's being.
